I was reminded of so many moments in life where I interacted with people who had obvious and occasionally unusual physical traits (including scars, large birthmarks, and limb deformities).

In sales, I occasionally made sales due by maintaining a strict visual horizon and eye contact. Or once by giving a firm handshake and a smile to a man with two fingers.

What is hard to realize and easy to forget is that we are all so much more than the visible parts. Thanks again for shining a light on the otherwise invisible suffering we can cause others by forgetting.
