Overstating the conclusion here. To imply that there’s a parallel between the way unhomed and minorities are treated often in society with people who simply can’t or won’t pay for some “cool” features on an absurdly expensive toy-of-distraction is laughable.
Isn’t it possible that there’s such a thing as enough? Any smart phone from the last five years is probably “enough” to satisfy any actual needs for most people. What about the people who have a grasp of objectivity and understand that “who cares about that new insane new hardware or software feature” and just want to stay in the ecosystem without getting a second mortgage to pay for it.
