I entirely agree! I had the MX Master (v1) and currently use the MX Master 2S. I would get the 3, but the v1 lasted about five years, and I’m only about three years in on the 2S. I can’t justify the latest and greatest when my current one is still doing everything perfectly.

Battery: absurd. Charging: fast and infrequent. Functional: does everything I need. I don’t know how ANYONE works without the horizontal scroll wheel. Multiple computers: 2 Macs on KVM switch using the included wireless dongle, plus Windows and Linux on other boxes using the switch on the bottom. Scrolling: I can get to the bottom of nearly endless Unix job logs in seconds with a flick of a finger.

There aren’t enough good things to say about this and mine is the “old” one. Get one. Only then can you understand.
